Ingredients

- 300 grams or 1.5 cups of granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- 1 lemon, zested
Directions
- First, preheat your oven to 175°C or 350°F. Then, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat. Then add the eggs, one at a time, making sure each one is fully incorporated before adding the next. Finally, mix in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula, then bake for about 50 – 60 minutes. The cheesecake is done when the edges are set and the center is slightly wobbly.
