Best Cheesecake Recipes


Today I will share with you my favorite New York-style cheesecake recipe, as well as some tips and tricks to make it perfect every time.


For the crust, you will need:

  • 150 grams or 1.5 cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • 100 grams or 0.44 cups of unsalted butter, melted
  • 50 grams or 0.25 cups of granulated sugar

For the filling, you will need:

  • 900 grams or 4 cups of cream cheese, room temperature
  • 300 grams or 1.5 cups of granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 lemon, zested


  1. First, preheat your oven to 175°C or 350°F. Then, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat. Then add the eggs, one at a time, making sure each one is fully incorporated before adding the next. Finally, mix in the vanilla extract and lemon zest.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula, then bake for about 50 – 60 minutes. The cheesecake is done when the edges are set and the center is slightly wobbly.


  • Don’t overbeat the cream cheese mixture as it can lead to cracks in the cheesecake.
  • Let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar. This will help prevent cracks and ensure a smooth texture.
  • Always chill your cheesecake in the fridge for at least 4 hours before serving to achieve the perfect consistency.
