Welcome to my kitchen, where I’m going to share with you my mouthwatering Tomato and Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken recipe. This dish is a perfect combination of juicy chicken breasts, ripe tomatoes, and gooey mozzarella cheese. It’s a delightful meal that will impress your family and guests. Let’s get started!

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 500g or 1.1 lb)
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 200g (7 oz) mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut a horizontal slit in each chicken breast to create a pocket for the stuffing. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
  4. Stuff each chicken breast with 2-3 slices of tomato and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Secure the opening of each chicken breast with toothpicks to prevent the stuffing from falling out.
  6. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the stuffed chicken breasts and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove the toothpicks from the chicken breasts before serving.

– You can customize this recipe by adding your favorite herbs or spices to the stuffing mixture.

– Serve the Tomato and Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken with a side of salad or roasted vegetables for a complete and satisfying meal.

– Make sure to let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it to allow the juices to redistribute.
