  • 400g (14oz) Italian sausage (either mild or spicy, your preference)
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


  1. Start by heating a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until they become soft and slightly caramelized.
  3. Remove the onions and bell peppers from the heat and set them aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the Italian sausage until it is nicely browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the sautéed onions and bell peppers back into the skillet with the sausage.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and toss everything together to combine.
  7. Allow the flavors to blend together for a few minutes over low heat.
