Ingredients
- 2 cups glutinous rice
- 6 Chinese sausages (Lap Xuong)
- 3 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Spring onions and fried shallots for garnish
Directions
- Wash the glutinous rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Steam the rice until cooked and set aside.
- In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté the shallots until fragrant.
- Add the Chinese sausages (sliced) to the pan and cook until they start to brown.
